As many of you will have seen, work is progressing on the temporary Taxi/Bus/Cycle route.

Demolition of the Theatre Royal is at an advanced stage and the first stretch of the new temporary route is visible from the flyover.

In the High Street junction of Manor Road, through to the junction with Medway Street, most of the street lighting and street furniture has already been removed.

Cabling, pipe and duct work is ongoing and the cobble stones are being removed to be replaced with a stronger surface.

The changes on Medway's waterfront are now underway!
