A meeting was held at Gillingham Football Club, just to run through a few things about train timetables and the introduction of the high speed link, which starts to run through the Medway stations of Rainham, Gillingham, Chatham and Rochester as from 13th December 2009. We hope this will increase work to and from the Station ranks.

The meeting also took comments from the Commuter Forums along the Medway line into London.

The MLTDA was invited as an ongoing part of the Transport Infrastructure for Medway. At this meeting we were introduced to a Mike Smith (not our Mike), from Network Rail, who informed us of some of the refurbishment plans for Gillingham station.
